Artist, Designer, Experiential Architect, Serial Entrepreneur

Born and schooled in South Africa, much of my early life was spent in Cape Town, surrounded by its dramatic mountain ranges, endless beaches, and unique lifestyle. I have a deep understanding of the arts and culture of this beautiful area as well as the underlying trauma of Apartheid and its impact on the community.

I began my career as a graphic designer in Johannesburg and quickly become the Joint Managing Director of one of the city’s largest industrial theater production companies. Then, in the 1980s, the political realities of South Africa drove me to leave my family and by business to settle in Boston, MA.

I’ve continued to push the boundaries of corporate creativity through my company MARS Productions, Inc., producing large-scale meetings, presentations, and theatrical events. And as a side pursuit, I’ve channeled my insatiable curiosity and desire the surround myself with innovators and disrupters’ by forming the ‘Creative Minds Group’, a curated collaborative of thought-leaders that meet to brainstorm, mentor, and support one another.

I’ve been able to return to South Africa for several months each year while working remotely to spend treasured time reconnecting with and expanding on my group of incredibly talented friends.

I am excited to share my lifetime of creative pursuits and connections with you and to guide you as an experienced event planner on the most thoughtfully designed four-day adventure possible.
